Christmas Corporate Event Planning – What You Need To Do

In any workplace the Christmas works do is quite possibly one of the most exciting events of the year but for some, it can be a bit nervewracking – It is a rare occasion where the staff all get together outside of the office/workplace but for a party organiser there is a lot to plan.

Planning Your Party

Most companies book there Christmas party a few months before, plenty of time to choose an appropriate venue. Will it be casual or Black tie?  How many guests are you expecting? Do you require catering or does the venue provide that for you? Drinks!

Most guests at a Christmas event will expect at least one free drink on arrival. Some corporate parties will put more money behind the bar for guests to enjoy drinks throughout the evening. Check with the venue if they can provide adequate amounts for all guests. If not maybe consider a separate cocktail bar. There’s nothing worse than guests having to wait too long in the queue for some festive tipple!

Entertainment

Is a Christmas playlist on Spotify enough? Why not wow your guests with a live band or some spectacular event entertainment?
