The Pantone colour of the year has just been announced!

One of the most important parts of any event is the colour scheme. Vibrant, on trend colours set the mood and contribute greatly to giving your guests an event to remember. And with Pantone announcing their Colour of the Year, colours schemes are about to get very interesting.

“15-0343 TCX Greenery” is a refreshing yellow-green to symbolise new opportunities and fresh starts. Here at Smooth Operator we agree that this is the perfect colour to take us into 2017 and we can’t wait to incorporate this gorgeous colour into our weddings, parties and other events.

With Pantone’s announcement, we’re sure more natural décor will be all the rage (we’re thinking floral, boho spring-summer themes) and we can’t wait to get stuck in, especially with the wide range of colours that Greenery can be paired with. We think this colour would like gorgeous on table centres, linen/chaircovers. How about incorporating the colour scheme into your wedding invitations and stationery?
